The K1X brand was born in 1993 in Munich Germany. Selling their first products on the side of the road from a small pickup truck. K1X forms a link between hip hop culture and basketball. Thus finding its unique place as an urban lifestyle brand all around the world. In 2002 K1X released their first basketball shoe to the market, the Chiefglider, which was worn also by NBA star, Ron Artest (Metta World Peace).
